Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in the United States is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Executive Chef, providing leadership, coaching, and feedback to drive daily restaurant operations, service, quality, and hospitality standards.

As AGM you will supervise restaurant managers and hourly team members, help drive financial performance, ensure brand standards, and foster a culture of excellence while building bench strength and guiding recruiting efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support to the General Manager and acts as acting GM in their absence.
• Leads, develops, and motivates management and hourly team members to ensure excellence in execution and guest satisfaction.
• Partners with the Executive Chef to oversee all food and beverage operations.
• Ensures adherence to company policies, safety, sanitation, and compliance standards.
• Assists in forecasting, budgeting, and controlling costs, including food, beverage, and labor.
• Analyses financial reports and operational metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Provides direction and training to managers and team members by coaching, counseling, and feedback.
