Job summary

CAVA in Columbia, SC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and uphold our mission and standards. You’ll partner with the General Manager and Area Leader to drive guest satisfaction, labor optimization, and financial performance.

Responsibilities include schedules, inventory, coaching Team Members, and ensuring top-tier food quality and service. This role requires flexible hours and a proactive, service-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, labor and inventory.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training and feedback.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing.
• Support guest experience and handle customer concerns.
• Contribute to financial reports and performance analysis.
