Job summary

Taco Bell in New York is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team, leading by example in training, coaching, and recognizing performance to deliver unforgettable customer experiences.

You will ensure MIC Success Routine, safety, and food quality, oversee Shift Excellence, step in during the GM's absence, participate in hiring, coaching, and performance appraisals, and help manage P&L with daily cash

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Assist with P&L management by following cash control procedures and reviewing financial reports.
• Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources.
• Champion Taco Bell's culture and values, promoting equity and belonging.
• Recruit exceptional talent and support the GM in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Model MIC Success Routine to drive customer satisfaction.
• Oversee Shift Excellence and uphold high food safety standards; act in GM's absence.
• Provide feedback and address employee relations issues; escalate when needed.
• Assist in sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Team Members.
• Support GM with Profit & Loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor management.
• Review financial reports and act to optimize performance.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
