A&R Corporate in Mobile, AL is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Home2 Suites by Hilton. You will partner with the General Manager and lead every department across the property, acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

This hands-on role requires ownership mindset and a track record of driving results. You'll oversee Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, and Reservations, shaping revenue, safety, labor controls, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of hotel supervisory or management experience.
• Ability to lead teams and enforce accountability.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience operating in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of hotel leadership experience with multi-department exposure.
• Experience with budgeting, labor management, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Quore or similar hotel systems.
• Proven track record improving guest satisfaction and service culture.
• Experience serving as Manager on Duty or second-in-command.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Front Desk, Housekeeping, Reservations, Guest Services, Security, and Maintenance.
• Serve as Manager on Duty in the GM's absence, ensuring leadership coverage at all times.
• Coach and develop department supervisors to drive accountability and performance.
• Review Guest Satisfaction Survey (GSS) results and lead service recovery efforts.
• Support ADR and occupancy growth through strong operational execution.
• Assist with budgeting, labor controls, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage and lead the property's safety program, inspections, and compliance.
• Jump in to support the Front Desk directly during peak periods or staffing gaps.
• Champion A&R Hospitality's Culture, Mission, and Values across every department.
