Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a General Manager for its Portland, OR area (PNW clubs). You will lead the club culture, build a high-performing team, and drive member growth while owning club results.

You will coach staff, run efficient operations, manage revenue and labor, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This full-time, on-site role requires weekday, weekend, and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Leads and role-models a motivating, authentic, and passionate club culture.
• 2+ years managing a team of 10+, developing people.
• 3+ years in fitness, hospitality, or service operations.
• Proven success hitting sales or revenue goals.
• Comfortable reading KPI and labor reports and turning them into action.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication; attentive listening.

Responsibilities

• Set and model the club culture daily.
• Develop your co-leader as a partner and future GM.
• Run team meetings; share goals, promotions, wins; keep the team informed.
• Lead tours and guide guests to fitting memberships.
• Coach the team on lead follow-up, guest experience, and conversions.
• Drive retention and club promotions; foster partnerships.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard a team that fits the culture.
• Build schedules covering peak hours within labor budgets.
• Manage revenue, labor, and expenses; report KPIs to leadership.
