Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to help the General Manager ensure smooth daily operations and provide an entry point for developing management skills and decision-making.

The role focuses on leadership, coaching, and maintaining brand standards across store levels, while ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient cash management. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities are highlighted by the company.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management skills with ability to motivate a team.
• Strong customer service abilities and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; sharp business acumen.
• Basic food safety understanding and practice.
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives.
• Supervise non-management associates, assign work, coach and develop shift supervisors.
• Be able to perform duties in the absence of the general manager.
• Motivate and positively influence staff, especially during low morale.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Address issues promptly and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain awareness of brand standards and procedures to maximize relations.
• Ensure restaurant looks clean, inviting and adheres to brand standards.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and reports are delivered as directed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to ensure positive relationships.
• Conduct spot inventory counts to verify inventory data.
