Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations and mentor a team across our food service network. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, achieving performance targets, and upholding brand standards.

The position offers opportunities to develop management skills within a fast-paced, multi-brand environment. Strong leadership, customer service, and communication abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives clearly.
• Oversee day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assign work, coach shifts supervisors.
• Step in for the general manager as needed.
• Motivate staff, especially during times of low morale.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure a clean, inviting restaurant.
• Ensure cash management is accurate and daily reports are produced as directed.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to foster long-term relationships.
• Maintain accurate inventory data with spot counts and checks.
