Job summary

InnVentures seeks an Assistant General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn San Diego Rancho Bernardo to lead and mentor hotel teams, drive outstanding guest experiences, and maximize financial performance for owners.

You will interview, hire, train, and coach staff, champion superior service, and foster guest loyalty while ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to standards. This role requires strong communication and leadership in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years progressive hotel experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, support, coach and mentor various departments and teams.
• Champion great service and empower employees to take care of our guests.
• Cultivate relationships with guests to develop loyalty and maintain satisfaction.
• Apply problem-solving skills to resolve guest and/or employee issues to their satisfaction.
• Monitor daily tasks to ensure SOPs are followed.
• Assist with benefits administration, payroll and HR tasks.
• Support proactive sales efforts with the sales team.
