Applebee’s IHOP joint venture in Onalaska, WI is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations. The role requires prior management in a similar organization and a college degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business or related field.

Qualifications

Prior management experience in a similar organization.
College graduate with a two or four year degree in Hotel/Restaurant, Management, Business or associated field.
Demonstrates leadership abilities as evaluated by GM/AD/DO and hourly associates.
Completed management training guides and has attained business goals set with supervisors.

Responsibilities

Ensure prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines.
Direct overall activities and performance of associates on a shift-by-shift basis.
Brey a culture using Vision/Mission to guide teamwork, results, integrity and guest-driven service.
Address verbal guest complaints promptly and coordinate with GM.
Maintain safety and sanitation programs according to policy and standards.
Develop community and sales-building events in coordination with GM.
Provide coaching and development for managers and associates; conduct evaluations.
Control costs in the department and manage assets; ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
