Job summary

Devon Self Storage in Macon, GA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our in-store team. You will help customers choose storage solutions, drive rentals, process payments, and support daily store operations with a focus on growth.

You will work closely with the General Manager, learn the online auction process, and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized facility. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store each business day and secure it.
• Meet and exceed rental goals through units, protection plans, and merchandise.
• Process payments, balance receipts, and complete bank deposits.
• Assist General Manager with online auction processes and training provided.
• Build lasting customer relationships and provide a high-touch service experience.
• Ensure products are stocked, priced, and displayed in a timely manner.
