Job summary

Devon Self Storage is seeking a Full-Time Assistant General Manager for the store at 6000 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia, SC 29209, with coverage at other local locations as needed. You will drive rentals, process payments, and deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a growing team.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid license, ability to lift 30+ lbs, and strong multitasking and communication skills. Growth opportunities and a competitive hourly pay range are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Open, close, and secure the store daily.
• Meet/exceed sales goals through rentals and protection plans.
• Ensure products are ordered, stocked, and displayed.
• Assist General Manager with online auction processes; training provided.
• Build lasting customer relationships and deliver high-touch service.
• Process payments, balance receipts, and complete bank deposits.
• Perform daily property walkthroughs and light maintenance tasks.
