Job summary

SONIC Drive-In with KBP Drive-In is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the Managing Partner, drive restaurant performance, and deliver the fast, friendly experience guests expect. This role focuses on leadership development with a path to Managing Partner and above-store opportunities.

You’ll participate in performance bonuses, benefits, and paid training while helping to grow the business and protect the SONIC brand across a growing franchise network.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Assistant General Manager experience in food service or retail with profit & loss responsibility.
• Quick-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, upholding SONIC standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading training, scheduling, and team performance.
• Manage inventory, food safety compliance, and guest concerns.
• Support financial performance through cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner on growth initiatives and protecting the SONIC brand.
