801 Chophouse Kansas City is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead front-of-house operations in a premier downtown steakhouse. You will partner with the GM and Chef to maintain service standards, manage staff, and uphold exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of high-end restaurant leadership, expertise in beverage programs, and strong financial and people skills, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years, preferably 5, of restaurant management in a full-service, high-end dining establishment.
• Strong understanding of restaurant accounting & financial systems (opening/closing, inventory, invoices, weekly submittals).
• Advanced knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; beverage/wine program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM with overseeing restaurant operations and the wine program.
• Manage FOH labor, cost controls, and SOP adherence to company standards.
• Recruitment, training and supervision of FOH staff; ensure guest satisfaction.
