Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, franchised by KBP Brands, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, uphold brand standards, and support the Managing Partner in training, scheduling, and performance management.

You will manage inventory, ensure food safety, resolve guest issues, and handle cash/expenses while driving growth and protecting the Sonic brand. This role requires leadership and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Availability to close the restaurant at least 2 nights a week
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for long shifts

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies
• Lead the team in training, scheduling, and performance management
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation
