Job summary

KORE Investments LLC is hiring an Assistant General Manager for its premier Downers Grove Class A office building. You will support the General Manager, manage tenant relations, budgets, and vendor contracts, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in property management, strong communication, and a BA in business or real estate. This role offers exposure to all aspects of property management with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial property management, office administration, or real estate support.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Experience supporting operational and financial performance of commercial properties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new property management software.
• Vehicle and current driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing property operations and ensuring service delivery aligns with KORE standards.
• Foster collaboration and inclusivity, championing team member engagement and wellbeing.
• Assist in preparing and managing operating and capital budgets, financial reporting, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate vendor management and contract administration, ensuring compliance and quality service.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and drive long-term value creation.
• Analyze property performance reports and collaborate to develop improvement strategies.
• Lead and empower team members, cultivating a diverse and high-performing work environment.
• Assist in lease administration activities, including abstracting leases and database maintenance.
• Develop Tenant Service Packages, including handbooks, anniversaries, events, newsletters, and tenant training programs.
