Job summary

Stream Realty Partners in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support a portfolio of commercial properties. You will assist the Property Manager with building operations, tenant relations, vendor management, and financial reporting to help maximize asset value.

The role requires 2+ years in commercial property management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with real estate software. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
• 2+ years experience in commercial property management.
• Strong communication with tenants and vendors in a professional setting.
• Experience with real estate software (Yardi, MRI, Kardin, AvidXchange, IMPAK or similar).
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building operations issues alongside Property Managers.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure service contract compliance.
• Prepare and review monthly reporting packages and financial reports.
• Assist with annual operating and capital budgets and expense reconciliations.
• Support tenant relations and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Process invoices and maintain accurate coding and AR guidelines.
• Assist in planning tenant events and coordinating management tasks.
