Job summary

Eurest in Omaha, NE is seeking an Assistant General Manager I to lead day-to-day food service operations at a medium to large volume location. You will manage a team of associates, uphold quality controls, and ensure client satisfaction while controlling budget and resources.

The role requires 2–4 years of food service management, experience across dining operations, strong computer skills, and a firm grasp of operations and purchasing. A preferred Associate's degree and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Comprehensive food knowledge.
• Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Assists with managing food service operations in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with the maximum value for the dollars spent.
• Ensures the food offered to the client, customers, and employees of the operation is of superior quality.
• Maintains excellent relationships with associates, guests, and client as well as other departments within the operation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
