Job summary

U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Reno, NV to oversee daily center operations and support the General Manager. You will lead a team, allocate resources, and ensure exceptional customer service while handling miscellaneous maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment‑to‑moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
