U-Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee day-to-day center operations and lead a motivated team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will act in the General Manager’s absence, making quick decisions to optimize resources and enhance the customer experience.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on coaching, and ongoing training through U-Haul University, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsabilités

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
