Job summary

U‑Haul is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Concord, CA to oversee day-to-day center operations and fill in for the General Manager as needed. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring top-notch customer service and safety while driving efficiency and growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Leadership experience in any form.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence.
• Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects.
• Manage and assign your team members to ensure that customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care.
• Miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches, brake controllers, etc.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
