Broadway Cannabis Market is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Capitol store location in Portland, OR. You will work closely with the General Manager, oversee daily operations, guide the store team, and coordinate with Inventory Manager to keep our store the top cannabis destination in the city.

The role requires a valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit, 21+ age, and a strong understanding of cannabis products.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Expert understanding of cannabis products, strains and consumption methods.
• Strong tech literacy; familiarity with Dutchie POS and METRC is a major plus.

• Maintain clear, consistent communication between front-of-house, back-of-house, and inventory management.

• Ensure the dispensary strictly adheres to all state cannabis laws and OLCC regulations.

About the Role:

Broadway Cannabis Market, where our motto is Premium Without the Price, is a recreational and medicinal cannabis dispensary located in the Portland & surrounding areas. We are seeking a qualified applicant for the Assistant General Manager position at our Capitol store location.

In this role, you will work directly alongside the General Manager, oversee daily operations, support our store team, and communicate closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure our store remains the top cannabis destination in the city.

• Manage daily floor operations, supervise staff, and run full store operations when the General Manager is off-site.
• Provide staff with necessary operational tools, guidance, and active support on the sales floor.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication between front-of-house, back-of-house, and inventory management.
• Address and resolve customer issues efficiently to maintain a high standard of service.
• Ensure the dispensary strictly adheres to all state cannabis laws and OLCC regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, professional appearance, and excellent hygiene.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately;
• Ability to stand for long periods of time;
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.;
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances without notice;
• Must be able to understand and comply with safety regulations;
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written;
