Broadway Cannabis Market in Beaverton is seeking a Budtender to assist customers with cannabis selections, verify IDs, and manage sales during morning/early afternoon shifts.

You will educate customers on products, ensure accurate weighing and packaging per OLCC rules, keep shelves stocked, process online and delivery orders, and participate in a fast-paced store environment.

Job Description:

Broadway Cannabis Market, where our motto is Premium Without the Price, is a recreational and medicinal cannabis dispensary located in the Portland & surrounding areas. We are seeking a qualified applicant for the Budtender position at our Beaverton store location. The Budtender is responsible for interacting with and assisting customers with their cannabis needs, keeping supplies stocked, and ringing up sales during morning/early afternoons.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Greet customers, verify age/legal ID, and advise on suitable cannabis products based on customer needs, preferences, budgets, and strain effects.


• Educate customers on safe cannabis use and stay updated on new products, consumption methods, and industry trends.


• Process customer payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.


• Correctly weigh, package, and label cannabis products in strict accordance with OLCC regulations.


• Ensure the dispensary floor and check-in area remain clean, organized, and well-stocked with cannabis and non-cannabis products.


• Process, fulfill, and close online and delivery orders.


• Monitor procedure updates and maintain daily communication on Slack.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must have a valid Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit (required).


• Must be 21 years of age or older (required)


• High school diploma or GED;


• General knowledge of cannabis;


• Knowledge of OLCC sales limits;


• Customer service skills;


• Ability to work quickly and accurately;


• The ability to stand for long periods of time;


• The ability to lift up to 25 lbs.;


• The ability to adapt to changing circumstances without notice;


• Must be able to understand and comply with safety regulations;


• Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written;
