Responsibilities

• Greet customers, verify age/ID, and recommend cannabis products based on needs and budget.

Mint Cannabis Co. is a new kind of cannabis dispensary chain, locally-owned and operated in the Portland Metropolitan area. We are seeking a qualified applicant for the Budtender position at our Hillsboro shop. The Budtender is responsible for interacting with and assisting customers with their cannabis needs, keeping supplies stocked, and ringing up sales.

Responsibilities and Duties

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Greet customers, verify age/legal ID, and advise on suitable cannabis products based on customer needs, preferences, budgets, and strain effects.
• Educate customers on safe cannabis use and stay updated on new products, consumption methods, and industry trends.
• Process customer payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Correctly weigh, package, and label cannabis products in strict accordance with OLCC regulations.
• Ensure the dispensary floor and check-in area remain clean, organized, and well-stocked with cannabis and non-cannabis products.
• Process, fulfill, and close online and delivery orders.
• Monitor procedure updates and maintain daily communication on Slack.
