Job summary

UFC GYM in New Hyde Park, NY seeks an energetic associate to assist members with private training and program administration. You will support revenue activities including supplements, workouts, and tours, while maintaining client records and scheduling.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a focus on customer service, and proficiency with Word/Excel. CPR/AED certification and a HS diploma are essential, with at least 6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of Personal Training techniques from assessment to program design.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possesses a strong customer service focus.
• Possesses strong organizational skills. Understands basic record keeping practices and procedures.
• Must be computer proficient, with basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Current CPR/AED certification
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and encourages their involvement in private training.
• Ensures accurate administration of client Programs, supplement purchases, measurement tracking, workout programs.
• Assists in all revenue generating activities, including but not limited to: complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body fat tables, seminars, workshops, etc.
• Sells training sessions. Executes an effective prospecting strategy and conducts guest tours.
• Responsible for achieving monthly revenue objectives set forth by the Company with regard to fitness and Supplements.
• Reviews daily club sales performance and individual employee performance statistics.
• Performs various administrative and housekeeping duties within assigned areas as needed.
• Alerts the Operations staff of repairs and maintenance needs in the club. Personally conducts facility walk through daily.
• Supervises coach sales activities. Reviews agreements and prepares daily paperwork.
