Job summary

Fresh Brothers in Thousand Oaks seeks an ambitious Assistant General Manager to own the operation, drive revenue, and elevate guest experiences. You will oversee both back-of-house and front-of-house teams, ensuring consistent quality and service in a fast-growing pizza concept.

You must lead with an entrepreneurial mindset, manage labor, coach staff, and protect profitability through sharp P&L oversight, cost controls, and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Ensures food safety and quality Assurance; manages food, inventory, and equipment controls to maintain production levels. Leads BOH and FOH execution.
• Delivers exceptional customer experience across dine-in, take-out and delivery channels; maintains cleanliness and high standards.
• Directs talent management: coaches and trains team members, handles labor controls, staffing, hiring and performance development.
• Oversees financial controls; handles P&L, budgeting, and identifies sales opportunities to improve profitability.
• Completes administrative tasks and reports using internal systems and proprietary applications.

We’re looking for a highly successful Assistant General Manager who will not just manage the restaurant but will take charge of the operation and bring it to its optimum success.

As Assistant General Manager you must have an entrepreneurial attitude and treat the store as if it were your very own. You will be responsible to maintain restaurant annual revenue, while continuously striving to increase sales, deliver a superior product and maintain an excellent customer experience.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures execution and compliance of Food Safety and Quality Assurance: Manages food, inventory and equipment controls; Maintains food service and production levels by leading strong BOH and FOH execution.
• Provides exceptional customer experience: Builds important connections with customers; Provides excellent dine-in, take-out and delivery service; maintains restaurant cleanliness and maintenance to high company standards.
• Complete talent management: Actively directs, coach and trains team members to high performance levels. Responsible for labor controls; recruitment selection, hiring, retention, corrective actions and performance development.
• Fiscal Responsibility: Maintains restaurant financial controls. Complete P & L, budget and SPLH ownership. Proactivity identifies and secures sales opportunities.
• Administrative Assignments: Completes administrative (managerial) responsibilities including system reports, and proprietary applications; submits all administrative task accurately and efficiently.
