Taco Bell in Shelby, NC is looking for an Assistant General Manager to drive daily restaurant operations and uphold brand standards. You will coach the team and lead by example to deliver memorable guest experiences.

In this role you support the Restaurant General Manager, supervise shifts, recruit and train staff, and contribute to P&L management, inventory control, and safety compliance, while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience.
• Strong communication skills for performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and team motivation.
• Ability to assist with P&L, inventory, and labor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in GM's absence and drive customer satisfaction.
• Model MIC Success Routine and Shift Excellence standards.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop Team Members while promoting equity and belonging.

Assistant General ManagerAbout the Job:As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our restaurant's success, supporting the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team. You'll lead by example, training, coaching, and recognizing your team to deliver unforgettable customer experiences. When your team shines, so do you!In this dynamic role, you'll take charge of daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions and driving the team toward excellence. We believe in having fun while embracing personal challenges and growth opportunities. You'll work a 50-hour week, with 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half, providing a balanced and rewarding work experience.The Day-to-Day:Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.Oversee Team Members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence. Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM's absence.Collaborate with the GM in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback.
