Job summary

SDCM Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager in San Diego to support, lead, and inspire the team toward outstanding guest experiences and solid financial results.

The role includes budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, supplier negotiations, and marketing initiatives designed to attract patrons and optimize operations.

You will oversee sanitation, safety standards, and service quality while fostering a positive work environment and a culture of internal promotion.

Responsibilities

• Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing budgets, forecasts, and controls.
• Attracts patrons through marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; tracks results.
• Controls purchases and inventory by meeting with the General Manager, Director of Operations and Bar Manager; negotiating prices and contracts; developing supplier lists; reviewing usage reports; analyzing variances.
• Maintains patron satisfaction by evaluating offerings and building relationships with preferred patrons.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health regulations.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

SDCM Restaurant Group is currently seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager with the ability to support, lead, and inspire the team.

This includes but not limited:

• Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing financing; establishing banking relationships; preparing strategic and annual forecasts and budgets; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; establishing and monitoring financial controls; developing and implementing strategies to increase average meal checks.
• Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
• Controls purchases and inventory by meeting with the General Manager, Director of Operations andBarManager; negotiating prices and contracts; developing preferred supplier lists; reviewing and evaluating usage reports; analyzing variances; taking corrective actions.
• Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred patrons.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
