Job summary

Pembroke & Co. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily operations and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced QSR environment. You will collaborate with the General Manager to drive strong business results and growth into leadership roles.

This position is scheduled up to 40 hours per week, with peak hours during lunch and dinner, Thursday through Sunday. Relocation may be considered as the portfolio continues to grow, offering growth opportunities within 1 year of

Qualifications

• Prior management or leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or customer-facing environment (QSR preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role.
• Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• ServSafe Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, hiring and training team members.
• Lead by example and work alongside the team during shifts.
• Provide coaching and feedback to support team development and a positive team culture.
• Create a guest-first culture and lead by example to deliver excellent service.
• Maintain brand standards, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Address guest feedback and support service improvements.
• Support sales growth through promotions and initiatives.
• Help manage labor, food costs, and cash handling.
• Track performance and assist in achieving business goals.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and ordering.
• Complete basic reporting and administrative tasks.
• Support and step in for the Store/Restaurant Manager as needed.
