Job summary

Genesis Hospitality and Dining LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for Nassau Diner in New Jersey. This full-time role requires leading front-of-house operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

You will manage reservations, coordinate with the General Manager, and uphold health and safety standards while maintaining a clean, professional dining environment. Weekend/holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• More than two years of front-of-house restaurant experience.

• Monitor and maintain store inventory pars
• Maintain a very clean work environment
• Monitor daily reservations and make confirmation phone calls as appropriate
• Record all deliveries (paper, produce etc) and any errors
• Coach and support new and existing staff members
• Handle customer reservations and requests over the phone
• Make sure all employees follow company policies and guidelines
• Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff
• Ensure diner is complying with health and safety regulations
• Support General Manager as applicable
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary:

The Nassau Diner is seeking for an experienced and team-oriented candidate for the Assistant General Manager. This is a Full-Time position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.

• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, however, not required
