Responsibilities

1. Generate sales leads through member referrals, networking, formal presentation, public demonstrations, and phone calls.
2. Maintain and manage sales prospecting systems.
3. Promote and sell as directed other services and products, such as personal training and supplements.
4. Assume responsibility for developing selling skills in sales staff. Prepare for, attend and actively participate in sales meetings.
5. Assist General Manager (GM) in making sure the sales staff is adhering to the Company's policies and procedures.
6. Continually motivate sales staff and monitor their production levels against goal by using the established protocols and sales systems.
7. Consistently achieve or surpass personal and club sales goals.
8. Assist with operational duties as requested by management.

Requirements

1. Prior experience selling health club memberships and managing a sales department.
2. Positive attitude and the ability to motivate staff in a positive manner.
3. Self-motivated with strong organizational, management and communication skills.
4. Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity and work ethic.
5. Willing to work flexible hours.
6. High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
