Job Description

Handles invoice policies, coordinates servicing of new and renewal accounts from binding to prevent issues, and provides high-quality service to Agents and Companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate policies, endorsements, audits, cancellations, resolve discrepancies, and make necessary changes.
  2. Review and process policy servicing requests such as endorsements, audits, certificates, and cancellations.
  3. Manage file and account documentation.
  4. Invoice and process new business and renewal binders, endorsements, and cancellations according to guidelines.
  5. Establish new submissions in the system and handle accordingly.
  6. Produce cancellation and non-renewal notices as required.
  7. Manage underwriting files for accounts without issued policies.
  8. Maintain pending/suspense system per procedures.
  9. Maintain account files per company policy.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum one year of wholesale insurance experience.
  • State-specific Insurance License.
  • Experience as an underwriting clerk or three years of general insurance experience.
  • Ability to analyze insurance policies.
  • Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating.
  • Proficiency with carrier software.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with carriers and agents.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Current knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
