Job summary

Papa John’s in Maryland is seeking a full-time Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, uphold food quality, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll partner with the General Manager and Area Supervisor to drive performance and maintain a positive workplace culture.

In this leadership role, you’ll develop a high-performing team, manage multiple tasks, and ensure safety and standards are met.

Qualifications

• Willingness to be considered for a General Manager position nearby.
• Previous experience in restaurant management or similar leadership role preferred.
• Completion of the Papa John’s Manager Development Program through our training platform.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the store and required meetings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, well-organized workspace that meets company standards and customer expectations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team by providing guidance and support.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and quality control guidelines.
• Supervise all restaurant staff, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

As Assistant General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, maintaining high standards of food quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and Area Supervisor to ensure goals are met while fostering a positive workplace culture. In the absence of the General Manager, you’ll step up and take charge of the restaurant.

Compensation

$18 - $20 per hour
