Common Man Roadside on South Willow Street in Manchester, NH is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the GM and lead daily operations. The role combines hands-on cooking and service with team leadership to elevate guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in retail/food service management, is available nights/weekends/holidays, and can obtain ServSafe certification; you will manage FOH/BOH, staffing, inventory, safety, and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in retail/food service management.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.

Common Man Roadside is hiring an Assistant General Manager for our Manchester location on South Willow Street!

Pay rate: $60k annually

The Assistant General Manager will assist the GM in directing all aspects of the store’s daily operations. The right candidate will be an outstanding leader, setting the tone for their team by prioritizing guest experiences. Team building is essential in this role- not just through training and development, but also through recognizing hard work and potential of all team members. Additional duties include:

• Directing and overseeing FOH and BOH operations and production
• Opening and closing of daily paperwork, reporting, and logs
• Ordering and inventory management
• Safety and sanitation
• Employee management including scheduling, training, and development

This is a working management role- our managers work on the line and prep food, offer hands‑on training, guidance, and development of staff, and assist customers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in retail management
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including ServSafe
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend and reach
• Must be able to lift/‑carry packages up to 50 pounds
