Job summary

Common Man Roadside Market and Deli in Derry, NH is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day operations. This working management role involves training staff, guiding crew, and assisting customers on the floor and in the kitchen.

Pay is $52k-$55k per year, depending on experience, with flexible hours, full- or part-time options, and a benefits package including health and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in retail management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including Underground Storage Tank Operator A/B and ServSafe.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend and reach.
• Must be able to lift/carry packages up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keep the general store stocked and priced with attractive displays.
• Handle daily paperwork, reporting, and logs.
• Supervise employees.
• Support kitchen operations as needed, including cooking and packaging of food items.
• Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and quality.
• Aid in cleanliness and appearance of the store and grounds.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the General Manager in day-to-day store operations.
