Job summary

Chart House Longboat Key is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a premier waterfront dining operation in Longboat Key, FL. You will apply your leadership experience to develop a high-performing team, uphold exceptional guest service, and drive financial success in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

In this role you will partner with the General Manager on operations, budget management, scheduling, and training, while maintaining the restaurant’s upscale standards and bay-view

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of senior level management experience in an upscale / fine dining establishment.
• Extensive front of house knowledge; advanced knowledge of financial aspects.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Stable and progressive work history; strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Investigate and respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, planning while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operations and procedural issues while developing employees by providing ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews.
