Sully's Steamers in Greenville is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager.

The role focuses on driving sales and ensuring top-notch food safety, service, and guest experiences while coaching staff and managing daily operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
• Proficient in restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, policies and personnel management.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to submit to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Provide consistent, high-quality food preparation and service, handling guest complaints.
• Direct employees regarding operational issues.
• Follow up with employees on tasks.
• Monitor training during shifts.

Job Summary

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for effectively leading Sully's Steamers Restaurant according to operational policies and procedures. This position reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Along with supervising portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
• Responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service, including responding to guests' complaints and turning dissatisfied guests into return guests.
• Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues.
• Follows up with employees on assigned tasks.
• Monitor training of employees during shift
• Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations.

Qualifications
