Job summary

IRB USA Inspire Resources is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to manage a team consisting of Shift Managers, Servers, Bartenders, and Service Assistants. You will collaborate with the General Manager to enhance restaurant performance and focus on guest-related metrics.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of management experience in a restaurant setting, with knowledge of labor laws and a passion for training teams. A variety of benefits including paid time off and a 401(k) plan are offered.

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage Shift Managers, Servers, Bartenders, and Service Assistants.
• Partner with the General Manager to ensure restaurant performance.
• Focus on guest‑related metrics and guest engagement.

Qualifications

• Preferably 3+ years of restaurant, bar, or kitchen management experience.
• General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems and procedures, and computer operations.
• Ability to manage and direct the work of others, champion change, and passion for training and developing your team.
