Job summary

Blaze Pizza in Charlotte is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, coach staff, and uphold brand standards. You will guide a diverse team, manage guest experience, and ensure food safety and quality across shifts.

We provide on-the-job training, opportunities for advancement, and a competitive compensation package with a monthly bonus tied to profits. Must be flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; university degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Basic math and accounting skills.
• Knowledge of P&L statements.
• Strong guest service, communication, leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Full availability for any shift including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Good personal grooming.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to lift 35-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform all administrative duties.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training of new team members.
• Provide daily feedback and regular performance reviews.
• Oversee a diverse team preparing pizzas to high standards and safety.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and maintenance per company standards.
• A team player who leads and engages guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Helping to build the Blaze brand and culture by interviewing, hiring and training new team members
• Development of our team members by providing daily feedback (tip - top) and regular performance reviews
• Overseeing a diverse team as they prepare GREAT pizzas using the highest quality products and follow all food safety standards
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our restaurant consistent with company standards
• A team player who can jump in where needed and lead our teams to create lively, fun guest interactions
• Other duties as assigned
