Job summary

Resolute Road Hospitality is hiring an Assistant General Manager for our Caldwell TownePlace Suites and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott. You will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, drive revenue, and elevate guest experiences in a brand-new dual-branded property.

You will lead a culture of service excellence, coach teams, manage labor costs, and ensure brand standards and Resolute Road Hospitality values—Stronger Together, Integrity, and Better Every Day—shape

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Business Admin, or related field.
• 2+ years leadership experience in hospitality or hotel operations preferred.
• Experience with brand standards and guest-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support General Manager with driving revenue, profitability, and guest experience.

Your Role

As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll help lead daily operations with a focus on guest satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence. You’ll support the General Manager in driving results, fostering a collaborative culture, and ensuring smooth execution across departments. What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily operations of housekeeping, maintenance, sales, and front desk departments
• Ensure compliance with brand standards while maintaining Resolute Road Hospitality’s unique culture
• Lead with integrity, empathy, and accountability
• Build a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and empowerment
• Partner with the General Manager to set and communicate clear goals and expectations
• Lead by example to create a workplace where team members feel appreciated and inspired
• Monitor and optimize property performance metrics, including labor and expense controls
• Support strategic business plans to drive revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction
• Engage with clients and community partners to support sales and marketing efforts
• Recruit, hire, and train top talent with a focus on culture fit and growth potential
• Conduct regular department meetings to align teams and celebrate successes
• Motivate and retain team members through recognition and development
• Manage employee relations with fairness and a solution-focused mindset
• Respond to guest and employee feedback with professionalism and care

• Work unit producing shifts based on business needs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Deep understanding of hotel operations and hospitality trends
• Proficiency in labor analysis, financial management, and revenue strategies
• Strong knowledge of sales processes and market dynamics
• Advanced communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems
• Experience with brand systems preferred
• Ability to coach, mentor, and hold teams accountable
• Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability

Education & Experience

• Associate degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality
• Previous hotel brand experience is a plus
