SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Assistant General Counsel for Litigation and Employment Law. This hybrid San Diego role partners closely with senior leadership to advise on employment matters, manage disputes, and navigate regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, active bar membership, and at least 10 years of post-bar experience in both litigation and employment/compliance domains, preferably with in-house exposure.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 10 years of post-bar legal experience in litigation management, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in both law firm and in-house settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide employment law guidance to People Operations and leadership, including hiring, performance management, terminations, leaves, accommodations, and bargaining relationships.
• Manage company litigation portfolio from inception to resolution, selecting and supervising outside counsel and reporting status to senior leadership.
• Oversee regulatory compliance for environmental, health, safety, and related regulatory developments; coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal risk functions.
