Acrisure seeks an Assistant General Counsel to specialize in commercial contracting and transactional work in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of SaaS, IT, and vendor agreements while partnering with sales, marketing, and operations to close deals efficiently.

The role requires strong drafting skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage risk with minimal supervision. On-site collaboration and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5–8 years of legal experience, preferably with in-house and law firm exposure.
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating SaaS, technology, and vendor agreements.
• Strong understanding of contract risk allocation including liability limitations and data protection provisions.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements across Acrisure’s businesses.
• Support transactions including SaaS, IT and cybersecurity services, vendor and procurement contracts.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to internal stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Lead contract negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners while balancing risk and commercial goals.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and clause libraries to accelerate timelines.
