Job summary

The Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to lead the Front Desk team, mentor staff, and uphold Hilton's guest service standards. You will collaborate with the Director of Operations to meet budgets, optimize occupancy, and ensure smooth check-in/out experiences.

Candidates should have several years of hospitality experience, supervisory background, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree strongly preferred.
• Experience modeling excellent guest service and mentoring newer staff.
• Able to work with financial information and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Front Desk staff: hiring, training, scheduling, motivating and evaluating.
• Develop and implement plans to maintain Hilton service standards.
• Work with Operations Director to meet budgets and maximize profitability of Front Desk.
• Lead reservation efforts to optimize occupancy and ADR.
• Ensure Hilton Honors goals and recognition are met by staff.
• Ensure Make it Right, Light Stay, Iconic Circle, TOP Squad initiatives are implemented.
• Maintain procedures for credit control and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with other departments to deliver excellent guest service.
