Opportunity: Assistant Front Office Manager

Assist in overseeing front office operations, including supervising front office personnel, to ensure adherence to guest service and sustainability standards.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring performance aligns with brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
  2. Oversee all front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  3. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  4. Assist in monitoring front office financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting controls and procedures.
  5. Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets and forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  6. Review, approve, and order capital budget items as needed.
  7. Address guest correspondence and incident logs; direct staff accordingly.
  8. Ensure front office supplies and merchandise are well-stocked and inventory is maintained.
  9. Coordinate with the Sales office to manage group resumes and rooming lists.
  10. Monitor guest room occupancy to optimize usage and minimize overbooking.
  11. Follow sustainability practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
  12. Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of hospitality experience, including front desk operations.
Work Environment and Context
  • Work hours vary and may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
