Assistant Front Office Manager - Hotel Commonwealth

Join us for the Assistant Front Office Manager - Hotel Commonwealth role at C. Baldwin Hotel.

Job Overview

Respond professionally and courteously to arriving, departing, and in-house guests by providing accurate information and services. Supervise daily Guest Services operations, promote a safe environment, and ensure high guest satisfaction and financial success. Open schedule availability required, including PM shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests and complete check-in procedures to ensure satisfaction and room requests are met.
  • Manage guest departures and ensure accurate billing and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain hotel records.
  • Answer inquiries, accept reservations, and promote hotel services to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Maintain good guest relations, stay informed about hotel and area events.
  • Operate PBX, assist with guest requests, and coordinate transportation services.
  • Order supplies, manage inventory, and control expenses.
  • Address guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Implement emergency procedures and participate in safety meetings.
  • Schedule staff, manage call-offs, and communicate hotel activities effectively.
  • Ensure all staff are trained on systems and procedures, motivate the team, and support departmental performance.
Qualifications

Physical Demands & Environment
