Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to oversee a large jail/correctional kitchen operation onsite. You will work with the Food Service Director to plan activities, supervise food service workers, and ensure food is prepared and served according to the facility plan.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, knowledge of food handling regulations, and a strong desire to learn.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience in food service.
• Three years of experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Experience managing and applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards and methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and with food service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients through effective communication.
• Oversee the quantities of food prepared and served according to the site plan.
