Trinity Services Group seeks an Assistant Food Service Director to partner with the Food Service Director in managing large kitchen operations inside a jail/correctional facility. You will supervise a team of food service workers, ensure menu adherence, and drive quality, safety, and efficiency in daily service.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• At least two years of management or supervisory experience in a food service position.
• Three years of experience working in food service.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, and receiving.
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and with food service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients and communicate effectively.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per menu plan.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules per menu specifications safely and correctly.
• Maintain sanitary environment following Health Department codes and regulations.
• Oversee any state inspections of the food service operation.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
