Everline Resort & Spa, nestled at the base of Palisades Tahoe, seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee multiple dining outlets and banquets. You will lead a diverse team, coach on the floor, and drive guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of service and financial performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, exceptional guest experiences, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in food & beverage within a hotel, resort, or luxury dining environment.
• Excellent guest service mindset with the ability to coach a diverse team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead on the floor and in meetings.

Position Overview

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager partners with the Food & Beverage leadership team to oversee daily operations across multiple dining outlets and banquet events. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining operational standards, supporting team development, and driving financial performance while creating a positive, engaging workplace culture. The ideal candidate is hands-on, visible on the floor, and enjoys coaching team members while ensuring every guest receives a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of restaurant, lounge, bar, pool, and banquet operations
• Lead by example, providing exceptional guest service and fostering a culture of hospitality
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop Food & Beverage team members
• Monitor service standards to ensure consistent luxury guest experiences
• Partner with culinary leadership to deliver seamless food and beverage execution
• Assist with scheduling, labor management, and payroll accuracy
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations, food safety standards, and alcohol service requirements
• Resolve guest concerns professionally while exceeding expectations
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls to maximize profitability
• Assist with outlet opening and closing procedures
• Support special events, weddings, conferences, and seasonal resort activities
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout all Food & Beverage areas

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Food & Beverage leadership experience
• Restaurant, hotel, or resort management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Luxury hotel or resort experience
• Banquet and event operations experience
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service
• Food Handler Certification
• Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification or ability to obtain
