Summary: Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino, a AAA Four Diamond resort on North Lake Tahoe, seeks a dynamic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. The resort features multiple dining venues such as Osteria Sierra, Cutthroat’s Saloon, In Room Dining, Tahoe Provisions, and seasonal outlets like the Stillwater Pool Bar & Grill. We focus on delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences aligned with Forbes standards and Hyatt’s purpose of care.

Position Overview: The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction. The role involves collaboration with the Food & Beverage leadership team to uphold high standards and foster an engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily operations of assigned outlets, including seasonal venues.
  2. Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and purchasing.
  3. Train and develop team members according to Hyatt and Forbes standards.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization across venues.
  5. Provide visible leadership on the floor to support staff and address guest needs.
  6. Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly.
  7. Coordinate with other departments for cohesive operations.
  8. Act as a first responder for guest and colleague safety concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
