Job summary

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to oversee operations for Double Blacks, our elevated coffee shop experience, and In-Room Dining. You will ensure seamless guest experiences, optimize operational efficiency, and develop the F&B team with a hands-on leadership style.

The role requires a passion for hospitality, sharp attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. May support other outlets based on business needs and priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as F&B Management preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with flexible schedules.
• Dynamic leader with a hands‑on approach and commitment to guest service excellence.
• Must have current Alcohol server certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Double Blacks and IRD, and the Food and Beverage teams.
• Support food and beverage initiatives and guest experience enhancements.

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest “ski beaches” in the world.

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager — Double Blacks & IRD

will assist in overseeing daily operations and service excellence within our Double Blacks, our elevated coffee shop experience, and the In-Room Dining outlet. This role ensures seamless guest experiences, operational efficiency, and team development across both outlets. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with a passion for hospitality, a sharp eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. the Assistant Manager may also support other Food and Beverage venues as needed, based on business levels and operational priorities.
