The position may involve clerical tasks, data compilation, Medicaid billing, and receptionist duties as needed. Strong bookkeeping, payroll, and MS Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Medical billing experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in math and language usage.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Good computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Medical billing software preferred.
• Knowledge of timekeeping systems desirable.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Payroll experience required.

Responsibilities

• Accumulates and provides data for accounts receivable ledgers.
• Maintains current patient census data.
• Bills Medicaid agency and tracks related forms and payments.
• Ensures accurate admission forms and contracts.
• Compiles data and reports as required.
• Ensures compliance with Financial Management Systems.
• Provides administrative services for the Administrator and Finance Manager.
• May greet visitors as facility receptionist and assist with private insurance claims.
